Today we are going to talk about how mandala art form help us to reduce anxiety, stress and depression.
Have you ever think of.. just take a pen & paper and randomly create anything on paper. What it would be ? Ummm... why to even think of what it would be.. when we just need to glide this pen on paper.
Yes, Art is not something only artists can do.. anyone can. And when we create without putting our technical brains , then something out of the box ideas pop up and then we create the master piece that is unique and our own. isn't it that simple...Mandala is one of the art form that is versatile, directly connected to universe, reduces anxiety and gives ample satisfaction by improving our state of concentration and mindfulness.
Either we purchase a mandala book and color it or we create our own mandala , it is always so refreshing and relaxing. It is a process to calm down our running brains.
Now a days most of the people experience stress, difficult in focusing and always in tension of doing something or may be thinking in their mind 24*7 and tend to forget to look around because of very hectic schedules.
Since mandala consists of circles which represents a safe and contained space, designs and patterns like any petals, horizontal/vertical/triangular lines, flower, cartoons and many more can help to calm a stressed brain and induce a meditative state.
Why don't take a pause and do some meditation with the mandalas. I would suggest to give it a try and do comment if it helps ?? I am sure it will .
